The heart of Brandstrom’s extensive Shutter and Warning Indicator product lines is The Brandstrom Rotary Solenoid.

Recent technical advances have been made in lowering power consumption while retaining optimum performance. This becomes important in today’s world of military and industrial handheld, portable products which have critical design constraints.

The evolution has been industry driven with regard to torque, size, weight and response time. The table below represents our current Rotary Solenoid lines. R&D is always ongoing at Brandstrom and soon we will be offering smaller diameter body types. We also have the capability to design and produce larger diameter rotary solenoids up to 1 1/4 inch for applications where size is not a limiting factor and high torque is required.

 

Parameters such as angular travel, rotation direction, voltage, shaft length, and housing diameter can all be selected to identify a solenoid configuration that will suit your needs, or choose from one of the configurations below:
